These classes are for any operator or instructor requiring IPC certification, recertification, or anyone looking to learn more about soldering. The class schedule is in the schedule tab of our website. The schedule lays out the offerings in Illinois, Michigan and Online. If there is a class or date that you require that is not listed on the schedule, please contact Training@solder.net as we may be able to accommodate your needs.
Online Classes:
Online options are available for IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 for both Operator and Instructor Certifications. The courses are offered in conjunction with in-person classes utilizing Zoom. Certification exams for online courses require the student download online proctor software prior to starting the course- Instructions here
Training Facilities
We have two fully equipped training facilities located in Chicago, IL and Lansing, MI. We host weekly classes at each of our facilities including IPC and BEST courses. We can add additional course offerings at both of our training facilities to meet our customer’s needs.
Training with BEST at one of our facilities allows you focus on the curriculum while interacting with peers in the industry to enhance your experience. Our comfortable classroom setting and knowledgeable staff makes the perfect environment to sharpen you soldering skills.
Private Classes
BEST has been offering private classes for some for the largest electronics companies in the US for 20+ years. We offer a range of IPC certifications, BEST courses, or custom classes to meet our customer’s needs. Our private classes can be performed using your facility or our Mobile Training Center. Our Mobile Training Center (MTC) is the only one of its kind in the US. It comes fully equipped for any class and can accommodate 10 students. Using the MTC allows minimal hassle when it comes to planning as we bring all the materials and the facility to you.
