Objectives of the course:
Before you enroll for the Illinois Solder Training, it is better to learn about the objectives over here. After completion of the course, participants will have a better understanding of requirements, which are well involved in the repair and maintenance of the printed circuit boards to the current IPC 610 standard.
Here, the candidates get the chance to inspect PCBs to ensure compliance with the current trendy industrial standards. They will further remove and replace the solder joints and other PCB components using soldering irons, wick, heated tweezers, and some hot air network stations.
Candidates will be practically trained to correct the solder surface-based mount devices, which will include DIL, LCC, QFP, Gull-wing, and more to PCBs. They will also learn how to correctly solder the supported and unsupported through-hole components of the PCBs.
The interested candidates will understand the hazards and uses of fluxes and cleaning solvents. They will also select the correct solder grades and prepare the wires for soldering. They can now determine the component values from the case markings well.
The enrolled participants get the chance to identify some of the components used, like SMT QFP DIL LCC Gull Wing, and more. They will even understand issues of the EOS and the ESD now. They will apply some of the safe working practices related to soldering procedures.
