IPC- 7721 CIS Training
This is a 5-day program for experienced PCB repair technicians looking for knowledge of the IPC 7721 PCB rework process (repairing physical damage to the PCB) controls and recommendations surrounding “best practices” in this document. This PCB repair course reviews this document and helps students learn how to navigate the criteria. Closed and open book tests. PCB repair competency skills need to be demonstrated to the instructor. Students must pass both the hand soldering as well as navigating the standard test questions in order to successfully complete this program. More on the IPC rework and repair training program here.
What’s in the IPC-7721 CIS PCB repair class?
Students in this class will discuss the procedures in the IPC 7711/21 document as well as having the skills of PCB repair demonstrated for them. This class is intended to be at a pace that assumes the students utilize the standard in the workplace as well as perform PCB repair as part of their job function.
